Dear PFR Advisory Board Members and Supporters,
First, I have really appreciated your amazing support this year. I value each of our touch points and I look forward to more in the future. 2025 was a really good year for Personal Finance Reimagined (PFR). Lots of market validation and delivery refinement. Our messaging gets better all the time and the client feedback has been positive and provides growth opportunities.
The bottom line: PFR IS WORKING, our DecisionFIRST, financial education mission is on point, market demand is validating, and we are growing a self-sustaining business model.
I want to share my 2025 Top 10 reflections. There are more, but I limited myself to 10 high-priority items demonstrating strategic progress in client and student success, market penetration, program validation, growth capital, and operational efficiency.

PFR's Top 10 High-Impact Milestones: Creating Momentum
1. Strategic Talent Engagement (Advisory Board):
Added 3 new advisory board members: Ann Epstein, Chris Oddleifson, and Chris Dias! This significantly increases our scope and strategic depth across the Founder's Copilot and financial education verticals.
2. Strategic Funding Secured:
Secured additional investors in PFR, providing helpful funding to expand our team and accelerate growth, particularly within the Founder's Copilot segment.
3. Institutional Validation & High School Reach:
Accepted by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) to provide our personal finance college decision curriculum to high school students. We are also actively pursuing school systems in New York and Connecticut; a special thanks to Chris Repetto for his leadership and strategic guidance in these efforts.
4. Higher Education Expansion:
Expanded our footprint in higher education through teaching and seminars at JMU, VCU, and CNU. This includes the major addition of George Mason University (GMU); a special thanks to Daryl Wieland for being such a fabulous professor at George Mason.
5. Founder’s Copilot Traction & Pipeline:
Added multiple new Founder's Copilot clients and established a very robust pipeline of additional startups, confirming market demand for our services.
6. Technology-Enabled Choice Architecture:
Our behavioral economics-enabled technology is essential for how our students and clients simulate and practice a consistent, repeatable decision process to enable a lifetime of wealth. Thanks to John Sammarco, Greg Potteiger, and Definitive for being such great partners in this mission.
7. Marketing & Awareness Growth:
Expanded marketing efforts, including successful business socials, publishing extensive articles, and growing our proprietary email database, driving new leads.
8. Strategic Partnership Enhancement:
Significantly expanded pipeline and delivery of services through the Presbyterian Church’s Missional Incubator—thank you to Eric Warden for his leadership and guidance here—as well as partners like Bank of the James, Pendleton Community Bank, Live Oak Bank, and Cookie Finance.
9. Core Resource Modernization:
Wrote and published the 2nd Edition of Making Choices, Making Money, a core client resource and our classroom textbook. This update includes new chapters and integrates GenAI directly into our personal finance methods and technology, solidifying our foundational learning resource as a modern, market-leading solution.
10. Scalable Operations Model:
Integrated Generative AI (GenAI) as an operating partner and expanded the use of offshore back-office resources. This combination drives high efficiency in client delivery while maintaining a lean, scalable cost structure.
We are excited about the momentum these milestones create. Looking forward -- Besides our advisory 1-on-1 discussions, we will also begin holding small group, topic-specific focus sessions to dive deeper into these strategic areas. Additionally, Patti and I look forward to hosting more board and supporter get-togethers to celebrate our shared success. I look forward to discussing these growth drivers further with you soon.
Thank YOU for your continued interest and energy in our shared success.
Best Regards,
Jeff Hulett
